General Policies

And now for a word from our legal folks...

Lifestyle Gourmet encourages all clients to visit a physician before subscribing to our meal programs. Furthermore, Lifestyle Gourmet does not guarantee that any of its programs will enable the proposed physical, mental, or medical benefits of those programs. Lifestyle Gourmet does not guarantee that all client dislikes will be excluded from sauces and/or seasonings. Lifestyle Gourmet does not accept responsibility for any injury or fatality resulting from the accidental inclusion, and subsequent ingestion, of dislikes/allergens. All Lifestyle Gourmet plans and programs are provided on an ongoing basis. Lifestyle Gourmet will continue to provide service until notified of a STOP date. All four week programs will automatically roll over unless a STOP date is specified. Any and all changes to an account (menu, personal profile, dislikes, meal cancellations, additional meal requests, and/or different delivery locations) must be made by 5:00 p.m., 48-hours prior to the desired date of said change(s). Any change(s) made to an account with less than 48-hours notice cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to a service charge, if applicable, equivalent to 50% of the total value of the change(s) in question. Any and all changes made via e-mail, or from the website, must be received by 5:00 p.m., 48-hours prior to the desired date of said change(s). All Lifestyle Gourmet meals are delivered in safety sealed, insulated coolers and packaged with frozen ice packs. Each meal is labeled with whom it's for and when it should be consumed. Lifestyle Gourmet offers all of its meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Morning Snacks, and Afternoon Snacks) in any conceivable combination, on any day of the week. Lifestyle Gourmet office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00, Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:0 p.m. A Lifestyle Gourmet representative is always available to answer questions about our service. We are committed to the complete satisfaction of each and every client.

Payment Policies:

Lifestyle Gourmet accepts payment by credit card only (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express). Lifestyle Gourmet does not accept payment by cash, personal checks, traveler's checks, money orders, cashier's checks, or any other form of payment. Billing cycles are contingent upon the meal plan selected: Four-week programs are prepaid, and billed in full at the beginning of each 4-week cycle. Lost and/or unreturned coolers are billed on a weekly basis at the rate of $50.00 per cooler. The cooler charge is fully refunded upon return of each missing cooler. The $50.00 cooler-charge is fully refundable upon return.

Delivery Policies:

Deliveries are made by 7:00 a.m., Monday through Saturday. All meals delivered Monday through Friday are meant for consumption on the day they are delivered. Meals delivered on Saturday are for both Saturday and Sunday. A Lifestyle Gourmet driver will pick up old coolers with each morning delivery. Lifestyle Gourmet does not accept specific delivery time requests. If necessary, Lifestyle Gourmet requires the appropriate keys and/or entry codes to a delivery location prior to the first day of service. Keys can be picked up between 9:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. If necessary, call our office to arrange different pickup times. Lifestyle Gourmet guarantees that all modes of entry will be kept strictly confidential. Deliveries within our designated delivery areas are included in the cost of our service. Deliveries outside of our designated delivery areas are subject to an additional service charge. Meals are delivered to home addresses only. Lifestyle Gourmet requires 48-hours notice (see general policies) for address changes.
